General Questions & Answers
How long should the course take?
We recommend you spend 40 hours study time per module once you achieve 75% marks in your mock exams you are then ready to sit your examinations.
Who do I contact if I have a question to ask?
If you need advice or clarification on any issues raised in the e-course, please contact us via the email support section. Our Course Director will respond to all emails within 24 hours. Please note our admin staff are not CeMAP® qualified and therefore will not be able to answer any questions you have regarding the CeMAP® course.
Which examination should I take first?
We recommend you take them in the correct order 1, 2 then 3. CeMAP®/CeFA® 1 is regarded as the hardest examination due to the broad syllabus. It provides you with a foundation for CeMAP® 2. We recommend you sit CeMAP® 2 & 3 examinations within a couple of days of each other due to the fact that CeMAP® 3 is generally an overview of CeMAP® 2 in a different examination format. Some training companies advise you to sit CeMAP® 2 first because they feel it is the easiest exam. We do not recommend this. With our e-course taking CeMAP®/CeFA® 1 first should not present any problems.
How much do the examinations cost?
Each exam costs £150 each and there are three to sit. Examinations fees are paid directly to the governing body and we recommend you sit them within 7 days of completing each module to gain the full benefit of the course. Details of how to book your examination can be found in the “Booking the Exam” section.
On completion of the exams, am I qualified to work in the Mortgage Industry?
The CeMAP® qualification is your passport into the industry. With the exams passed, and your CeMAP® certificate, you can then look for work operating in this sector.
